Reminds me of a photo of our two girls at about the same age.
I remember going to Cleveland when we were little and seeing Mr. Jingaling. I received as a gift the Venus Paradise Pencil Set which was color by number. The song on TV was "Mr. Jingaling how you ringaling, keeper of the Keys . . ."
Steve, was that the trip where you, Mike and I were in one room and Mom, Dad, and Eileen were next door? Mike was doing something you didn't think he should be doing, so you picked up the phone and told the operator, "Gibe us the room next to us."
Hee hee! That's my FAVORITE story of Uncle Steve! I had JUST told my kids that one....I seemed to laugh more than anyone though...? It is now common in our house to say "Up a tree? Green grass?"If anyone has a scanner, scan those old screaming santa pictures (dad) ...that would be a HOOT to share!
Scott, I'm not sure but it could have been the same trip. And I what I said was, "Gib ut the room net to ut." You and Mike wouldn't let me forget it - Ha! I seem to remember Mike was going to take a shower and I didn't think he should so I tried to call Mom and Dad. Oh well . . .
It was the same trip. I remember it well - its one of those family stories that won't die, like when I told Grandpa that the "nose all gone."
