Snow in October!

I thought you would all appreciate this - especially Steve and Pat, fresh back in sunny Florida! We were in a winter storm warning yesterday, but didn't get as much snow as forecasted. The wind was quite something though! Today has been cold and rainy, but Saturday will be 60 degrees. Crazy Nebraska weather! These pictures are looking out into the front yard and the back yard.

I saw the storm developing on TV and wondered if you would get snow. You obviously did. The year before I retired I went to a seminar in Denver and it snowed enough to cover the ground while I was there. Good omen for the ski resorts, though.

PS The seminar was in October, as you might have assumed.

Unbelievable - better you than us, although I did have to scrap frost off my windows Thursday morning when it got down to 30. Still, nice pleasant fall days here.

Brr - cold! We left Georgia and the next morning the temperature dropped to 37! We've had the windows open here in Naples and the balmy breeze has been welcome. Keep warm!
