Some of you have more snow that we get, but this was a lot for Virginia especially this time of year - the most in March since 1980. Also set two record lows. Many, including us, lost power for from several hours (us) to several days. We had 12" in our back yard, and you can get an idea of the depth from this photo of our deck. Supposed to be in the 70's this weekend, so it will be all gone soon.

Wow Mike, it is a winter wonderland! I haven't seen that much snow in a long time. There is something serene about a new fallen snow, and much of the world is silent. Enjoy it while it lasts!

We had that same storm in Charlotte as well. We got 6-8 inches at our house but other areas got 10 plus. It was so pretty to see and it made me miss the snow a little…..but with it being 75 this weekend it is hard to miss the cold!

We had snow while we were in New York City too, I think it was 12 inches. But it didn't bother us much, since we took the subway and walked everywhere. It was just cold! But yesterday it was 73 degrees here, and today it is near 60.

We had half a foot from the same storm, but it is almost all gone now, and we will be near 70 this weekend. Spring flowers should be blooming soon.
