I recently discovered accounts of the Battle of Leyte Gulf on YouTube.   In one titled The Battle of Surigao Strait, the Aulick is mentioned as part of Destroyer Division Xray.   There are two longer accounts, The Battle of Leyte Gulf, Parts 1 and 2.   They are long and somewhat repetitive    I have seen them all the way through, but doubt if you want to.   Anyway, a part of family history is there in  a more complete form that I was able to describe.
