Joyful Reunion!

Late Thursday night/Friday morning during an awake time, I was thinking about Dad's service, and was giving thanks to God for the wonderful service that Pastor Wise and some of our family members gave.  It was a moving, inspirational time.  Then I was thankful for the wonderful time in seeing and catching up with some family members after the service.

Then I realized that the most joyful reunion of all took place at 4:20 AM on Sunday morning, May 21 when Dad was reunited with Mom.  What a time that must have been!  Then he was reunited with Scott, Samuel, his parents, sisters, and all those who have gone before, just as Mom was reunited with her loved ones back in January, 2012.

And as that reunion is more than we can probably begin to fully understand, the reunion that they had with God, their Creator, was even more so.  To be in Jesus' presence must be an experience that goes beyond our ability to comprehend.  A great song which tries to put this into words is called "I Can Only Imagine."  If you Google Ivan Parker I can Only Imagine, you can hear the song.
