Grandpa, I was wondering if you recognized this chair, minus the pillow of course :)
We took it from my parents basement a year ago, recently refinished it and now it is the chair I sit in every night when I put the girls to bed.
Mom just recently told me whose chair it used to be, and I was delighted to have a piece of history in our home, so I thought I would share a picture of it as it is now!

I think that's either the chair I sat in at the dinner table or at the desk in the bedroom when we lived on Coleman Road in Mansfield. If so, I had no idea it had survived. You did a good job refinishing it, and it looks like it's in pretty good shape. Hope you continue to get good use out of it. I don't remember where or when we bought it.
That's great Leigh! My treasure is a cake plate Mawmaw gave me when they were downsizing before a move. It is BEAUTIFUL and I use it all the time and love telling people who it belonged to.
Dad, I think that was the old TWI chair if I remember right. Jon did a nice job refinishing it. Sarah, could you take a picture of the cake plate so I can remember it? Thanks!
