We took a trip to Las Vegas to visit Nate, Heather and the boys.  We visited Nellis Air Force base where Nate does some of his work.  His base is near there where he flies UAV's - Predators and Reapers.

Nate and Jackson playing in their new home.

The Boys - Ethan and Jackson.

We celebrated our 35th Anniversary in Vegas! This is at the Bellagio hotel in the beautiful garden area.

Morgan, John and Anya outside our hotel.

Eating dessert at one of the Vegas hotels. Heather is eating for two again! We went to her ultrasound, and IT'S A GIRL! She's due in November.

Had nice visits with Megan and Steve. They were here from mid-afternoon into the evening on Friday and again on Monday from noon until 4:30. And as you can see from Megan's posting they attended Zach's graduation on Saturday. Thanks for the posting, Megan. The pictures are good of all of you. It's hard to believe those boys are that old. Monday afternoon I learned more about about wind farms and Steve's role than I had known before. Getting a site developed and actually providing power to a power company requires quite a combination of legal, engineering and sales skills. There's an old saying that nothing happens until somebody sells something. It's true that potential site selection comes first, but after that, until not just one, but many ranchers are sold on having turbines on their land, nothing else can happen. So Steve has a challenging job.

Zach's Graduation

Steve and I attended his nephew Zach's graduation on Saturday in Cincinnati. The top picture is Adam (will be a sophomore in H.S.), Steve's Dad, Zach, and of course Steve. Zach is going to attend Miami, just like his Mom, Dad, Aunt and Uncle! Right now he's planning on majoring in special education.
